Working at Height on Scaffolding

Every year falls from height cause the most deaths at work and the second highest number of major injuries. This Working at Heights course is designed as an introduction to this safety topic.  This course is suitable for you if you work in building and construction or involved in any kind of installation or maintenance that requires you to be working at height.

If you have the potential to fall from one level to another level this means that you are Working at Height.  It is not limited to falling from a ladder or scaffolding, it’s could also be falling down a hole or through fragile or weakened surfaces.

Working at Height with a Harness

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the Health and Safety Executive guide to these regulations are very clear about what you should do to stay safe when working at altitude. The training programme abides by these laws and follows their guidance to ensure that everyone knows how to stay safe when working at height.

  • Choosing Equipment

Course duration:

Approximately 40 minutes.

Assessment method:

Multiple choice test consisting of 20 questions.
