Safeguarding children is a course focused on protecting children and keeping them safe from harm. It’s concentrates on promoting their health and welfare and providing ways to help them grow up in a safe and supportive environment.
The programme covers child abuse which includes the different types of abuse, how to recognise the signs and how to correctly report any concerns you may have. The course also looks at the importance of speaking up and acting quickly and working with different organisations involved in working with children.
