The Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 training is a detailed course which builds upon your basic knowledge of food safety in the workplace.  This course would be suitable for you if you work in food manufacturing, hospitality, retail sector or the care sector.

The programme is for individuals who handle food whilst at work. The course covers all you need to know about food hazards and food poisoning.  It gives clear explanations of the different ways in which food can become contaminated.  The personal hygiene precautions that you should take and how to ensure cleanliness in the food preparation area as well as safe storage, cooking and chilling food.

Food Safety and Hygiene Eggs

The course also looks at Food Safety Management Systems, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), what records you should keep and legal requirements for food premises.   This is assured by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health,  and provides a quick and easy tool through which to ensure you and your staff have the understand and knowledge of high quality compliant health and safety.
