Health and Safety in the Workplace is everybodies resposibility. All members of staff have a legal duty of care to look after theirselves and others. The course provides an introduction to health and safety – which can be used as an induction tool, refresher, or for individuals changing job roles within your organisation.
The training provides an understanding of general health and safety. This will help employees recognise and avoid risks in their workplace. It will also explain the best way to minimise illness and reduce workplace accidents.
The course looks at all areas in relation to your responsibilities and legal requirements. It will give you detail on what to do should there be a workplace emergency and what procedures you should follow such as fire evacuation and calling the emergency services.
