First Aid training comes around quicker than you think and we all know how difficult it can be to book a day out of the working week never mind 3 days if you are new to first aid. Well the HSE are issuing new guidance on blended learning but what will this mean for you?
Blended learning will allow you to combine both online learning with practical face to face training. This is the first time the HSE has formally recognised that first aid theory content CAN effectively be delivered satisfactorily by any other means than face to face delivery. This is great news for anyone who is due to renew or is a beginner to First Aid Training and especially for smaller businesses where having an individual out on training for up to three days can have a significant impact on the day to day running of their business.
This will enable you to complete the first part of the course through online or e-learning in your own time, at your own pace and will give you the basics of first aid. This will need to be completed before your practical training.
However even though part of your training is e-learning you will still receive the same support as if it was face to face. We will support you every step of the way.
The practical training does what it says on the tin – it reinforces the e-learning and gives you the skills required to be a competent qualified first aider. But as you have previously done the e-learning it reduces the time required for practical learning. Whether you an individual, SME, or larger business this will mean that it gives you more time to focus on your business.
This is currently still in development stage with the HSE ( www.hse.gov.uk) and we will keep you updated as soon as further details are released but to register your interest with us please call 0845 86 21 131 for an informal chat.
